Visit the B-G Visitors Center and Mine Kill State Park for the Annual Snowfest Celebration!

This yearly favorite kicks-off at 11 am with new and special activities this year including: A Polar Plunge into the Schoharie Reservoir to benefit Special Olympics! See details below.

At the B-G Visitor Center:
- Photos and meet-and-greet with frozen Ice Queen and Forest Protector (12pm- 2pm)
- Wondrous tales, storytelling, and witty songs with Story Laurie
- Dog Sled Rides
- Maple Syrup and Honey making demos
- Exhibits and Crafts by Local Organizations
Plus food for purchase from a variety of Food Vendors
At Mine Kill State Park:
- Schoharie County’s first Polar Plunge! Into the Schoharie Reservoir they'll go to benefit Special Olympics
- Pancake Breakfast
- Broom Hockey with free ice skate rentals
- Snowshoe Race with free snowshoe rentals
- Sled Bowling
- Guided hikes between Mine Kill State Park and B-G Visitors Center
