MASSENA—The New York Power Authority (NYPA) today announced the temporary closure of its Frank S. McCullough Jr. Hawkins Point Visitors Center. The facility is being closed out of an abundance of caution in response to increasing cases of COVID in the region.
The Visitor Center had reopened early last month with increased safety measures, but since that time, the number of confirmed COVID cases in the region has exceeded the threshold for safe operation.
NYPA looks forward to welcoming visitors back when the facility can be operated safely.
Please check back frequently by visiting NYPA’s website at https://www.nypa.gov/communities/visitors-centers/hawkins-point or by calling 315-764-6679 for up-to-date information.
